To deliver the pages and keep them secure, Vercel's servers log each request: your IP address, the time, the page, and your browser and device. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

One case study, the Emergent film, can play from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Then the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, run by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which receives your IP address and may store data on your device. The legal basis is your consent, given by pressing play (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). See Google's privacy policy.

Links to Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn send nothing until you click them. Once you are on those sites, their own privacy policies apply.

When you email or call, I use your details only to reply and to work with you, and keep them only as long as that needs (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
